My artifact is a religious prayer called hamsa (ham-sa). The hamsa is very important to jewish people. People can use it in two ways, one way is you can hang it up or wear it like a necklace. It is from Israel and my artifact is special to me and my family because it protects us from bad spirits and bad people from looking at you. The hamsa protects you if anyone is jealous of you. Jewish people believe that if someone else is jealous of you then it can be a bad thing like if you have really nice looking boots and they don’t then they are jealous of you. That’s why the hamsa is important to jewish people.
