The Haitian season pounder is mainly used for making and mixing seasoning of Haitian food. My grandmother is an immigrant. My mom and dad brought her from Haiti to America. My mother immigrated to America first as she wanted to get good education and a new life style like my aunt. When she met my dad and got married she wanted my dad to try and bring my grandmother to America like her daughters (including my mother). She brought the item in the image and we use it the mush up seasoning to make spices and etc. This is a big part of our culture as its impossible to find anything similar to it because of the artwork of Haitian culture on it.
