A picture of a guitar.

My object is a guitar. A lot of my family plays the guitar, for example, my dad plays every night. He sings songs that aren’t that popular. He sings: Heart of Gold, Sunshine, Once More, Freight Train, and, he doesn’t sing them to us, but he wrote some songs that he has in a binder at home. He sits down with me and my sister before we go to sleep every night and sings with his guitar to us. Something that I think is cool is that both my dad and my grandpa keep different kinds and sizes of guitars (“...different kinds” meaning ukuleles and banjos etc.)
Guitars are pretty important to me because a lot of my family throughout the United States plays. For example, my dad, my grandpa, my great uncle, my second cousin, and my third cousin play the guitar (Even I have played the guitar before- though I’m really bad at it). I don’t have any kind of relationship with any of the people I listed except for my dad and my grandpa but I’m sure that they have all played the guitar and enjoyed it- my dad sure does! My dad migrated within the United States. First, he moved to New Jersey from Kansas. Then, to South Carolina. And last, he went to New York.
I want to know more about the history of my family's guitars and if any of my early ancestors played. I’ve thought about guitars more than I ever had before these last few weeks and I… well I don’t really know what to say.
