My artifact is a painting of the Guadalupe. This painting was brought from Mexico by my Abuelo to New York. He moved when he was around 20 and came to the West Village. Here, he married my Abuelita and had my mom. Once my Abuelo died, the painting was passed down to my mom, then eventually to me, and then to future generations.
