I have grown up Christian and lived with a Christian family. Everyone on both sides of my family believe in God to some extent. I don't know how far back it goes, but on my moms side of the family it goes to my great grandparents and the same for my dads side. I have attended a few churches in my life, but the church I attend now is perfect for me and my family. It is welcoming, it has a great youth group, and it has an amazing childrens ministry. I have been serving in the kids ministry for over 5 years and I love seeing the little kids experience the love of God. I think I started believing in God from my great grandparents because they always read me the bible anytime I went over, we always prayed before we ate, and any card I received from them had a bible verse and a little not saying "Jesus loves you."
