My object is my great grandmother's cookbook. The cookbook is an Italian cookbook. We use it to remake my great grandmother's old dishes. The cook book is mainly used throughout all of my dad’s side of the family. It is not a regular cookbook. My aunt made the cookbook and printed it at home. So every member of my extended family has a copy. The cookbook also has some basic information about my great grandmother.           I think that my great grandmother's cookbook is cool because it has a unique story behind it. My great grandmother used to cook without recipes. When she died my aunt tried to make these dishes into recipes. Later she put the recipes together which became a cookbook. Then printed multiple copies for the family. It represents my culture because it is made up of traditional Italian food. My great grandma came to the U.S. in the early nineteen hundreds.           My dad said that when my great grandma (his grandma) was really good at cooking. I am curious where my grandma became such a great cook. It is cool that we have some connection to the same food my great grandma, my grandma and my dad used to eat.
