My mothers side of the family was very rambunctious to say the least. The one person who held it together was my grandmother. My granny was a sweet, kind, and straight to the point woman knowing what to say in every situation. One day while visiting, she gave me a musical box, of two people happily dancing. To another person it just looks like another antique, but to me it holds countless memories. Granny taught me to do many things how to sew, garden, cook, and laugh. Similar to the two people dancing, she taught her own way to dance through life. Granny gave many lessons and memories within our family whether it was a simple joke or a precious object. Her words and love are engraved into those countless memories, shaping our family as they are today.
