My object is my grandma's recipe box. From what I can remember it has been in my family my whole life and for some time before that. The recipe box was given to my mom from my grandma. This box shows my family's story because it has recipes from my great grandmas on both my grandpa and grandma's sides of the family. My favorite recipe from the recipe box would be the peanut butter pie. I make the peanut butter pie on Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. The recipes in this box are very important to me because my grandparents don't live in the state, so I have something to remind me of them always close. I would say that in my family food is how we show our love and appreciation for one another. So, having comfort recipes that my grandma made when I was younger always close to help on the good days makes everything better.
