Grandma's Grandfather Clock
Grandma’s Grandfather Clock
My object is a grandfather clock. It's from New York. It's used to keep track of time, it tells people when to work, eat, sleep, etc. My grandma brought it but currently my Tio has it. The clock is made of wood, metal, glass, etc. For the clock to work there’s gears you have to wind up every eight days, it starts at the top then when it's close to the bottom at the bottom then you have to rewind it.
I chose the grandfather clock because it’s a family heirloom, my grandparents bought the object twenty nine years ago. The grandfather clock was passed down to the oldest son, since he has no kids he will pass it down to one of his nieces (the most responsible Niece).
Questions: Is there a reason why you chose a Grandfather Clock as a family heirloom, if so what is the reason? Did he save money to get it? Did you have a clock in the house already? Was someone assigned to wind it up?
