This is a recipe for Chicken Alfredo. My Mimi's recipe for Chicken Alfredo. My grandma has been cooking for my entire life, no matter the occasion, she is in the kitchen. As much as she loves eating, she loves creating and sharing with people more. That is where her passion for cooking comes from. Though she rarely follows directions, this a recipe she created and weaved her quirks into. From the minimal ingredients, to the last minute additions, the very optional "diet" version, and the necessary inclusion of alcohol, this recipe is my grandma. She made this recipe to serve hundreds at my parents wedding and many other times just for her family. After she died, I wanted to continue the giving the gift of love she put into every meal she made. Since finding this recipe and reading her words, I know that her love has not left. I'm so grateful for all the time we were able to spend together, creating, cooking, laughing and loving.
