This is a photo of my grandmother and her family. They lived in Budapest, Hungary. During WW2 my grandmother at a very young age had to escape the war. She came to America to try and get away from the holocaust. This story is important to our family, because it directly involves out family. We are all super happy that grandma was able to make it out of the country safely and able to make it to America, where she was able to live out the rest of her life. Grandma is a big influence in my life and i listen to her. She means so much to me, and I am super happy that she was able to safely immigrate.
