My grandfather who served in the Soviet/Russian military passed down his gun pouch to me before he had passed away. He gave it to me so that I have something to remember him. I have only seen him twice which were the first and second times that I went to Russia to visit my family. The gun pouch is an old Soviet gun pouch that is made of leather. Even though it's worn out it still looks pretty cool. It symbolizes my grandfather because I don't have anything else from him to symbolize him besides photos. He meant a lot to my mom's side of the family. I remember when my mom was crying about the news of his passing I comforted her during the tragedy.
