Gomez & Gomez.
Where I came From: The Gomez & Gomez.
I came from: large family that have 30 uncles,
50 cousins, and 10 siblings.
I came from: GOD IS FIRST.
I came for the Innocence, respect old people, and parents.
If you don't, they hidden a branch to remember you that you have to respect.
I came from: "Los dichos" of my grandma,"
If you don't work you don't eat"
I was raised that I don't know that teasing isn't bad
because we did it to each other.
I came from the rural poverty, but the richest natural resources.
I came from lands, rivers, imponent mountains,
from the foggy, from the rain
from those three that they scare you at any time
I came from tradition, "mitos" y legends,
where there wasn't lights
the unique light we saw is thunder and middle of the rain
that scared me much more,
and added to the scene that all the family sat around the bonfire
and told terror history.
About "La sucia, El sipitillo, and El cadejo"
and many more that put your imagination to fly
What kind family is that?
And we still have the same traditions
I came from: fresh air, clean and blue skies.
I came from: rice, and beans, cafe, and milk, and corn tortillas
Where I came from we used to pray in thanks for the food before eating.
Where I came from: everyone is busy working all day since childhood
I can tell you many more, but all I can tell you is
it didn't matter that we growing up in poverty,
I was raised very happy, and writing this poem makes me sigh
and I want come to enjoy my childhood again.
