This object is a gold chain with Jesus on it. It connects to my religion since I am Catholic. It was passed down to my father from my Nana, his mother. It will be passed down to me once I go to college. The necklace came from Italy when my Nana went back there to visit her family with my Papa, her husband, in 1979. The necklace was given to her by her sister to be passed down to my father. The necklace is made out of gold, specifically 17 karats. This object is important to me because it has to do with my culture since I’m Italian, my religion, and because it’s been passed down through my family.
