Gold Necklace
My object is a gold necklace with an M on it; it used to be a part of a gentleman pocket watch. It came from my great great grandfather in Spain called Ramón Moliner in the 1870s. Through the years it has been passed down through each generation. The chain and the pocket watch was really heavy so it was separated from the "M." Then when my mom, who's name happens to be Marta, came to the US 21 years ago they bought a lighter gold chain and gave it to her as a necklace. The pocket watch and heavy gold chain stayed with my grandparents in Spain and sadly their house was robbed 11 years later and the pocket watch and gold chain was lost. This necklace will hopefully later be passed down to me, and then I will continue the family tradition and pass it down to my children.
