Gold Earrings
These are my earring that have my name and they are made of gold. I use these earrings daily because of the importance that it holds to me. This object is important to me because It was a gift for my 9th or 10th birthday and it was something that I kept asking for my parents. The day of my birthday I was not expecting my parents to actually give it to me. These earrings were bought in Mexico when my sister went for a visit she was able to customize them and bring them. The object makes me feel peace and it is a way of remembering my family. My earrings are able to teach people my culture and allows people to know my name. This connects to the idea of my parents providing me with what they can in order to make me happy. It is also a form of expressing their love for me and showing that I should be grateful for what they give me. The earrings also show how my parents throughout their life have had many obstacles and they want to do better so that me and my sister can have more than what they did not have.
