My family artifact is my earrings that my grandmother gave me. There are tiny, and pure gold, hanging earrings that have a small horse's head on it. I got these earrings when it was my ninth birthday. These were from my grandmother’s on my mother’s side and she gave them to me as a birthday gift. She bought them for me, my grandmother bought them for me because I just got my ears pierced. I was in America and she was in Finland at the time, so she sent them to me and it took a long time to arrive. This object is important to me because it represents me by showing that I love horses and that I love them so much that it has become a part of my life.
