Gold Cuban Link Chain

On the way home for my six birthday my dad told me I had one present left for me at home. I remember being excited because he gave the best gifts and he did not disappoint. He gave me the chain he was given by my grandpa who  got it from his father. The next day however my feelings  change drastically. I was told I  was moving and had to say goodbye to all my friends. It was very upsetting but every time I look at the chain that I seem to be relieved of those feelings. Once she settled in where we moved to I wasn’t as upset anymore but still felt close to the chain. I made plenty of new friends so that you know did not put me ideas because I did not have those feelings anymore in the first place. It instead reminds me of all the people and I am I left behind and is ultimately a symbol of my childhood.
