Goblet

Relationship: Im/migrant

Listen to Hazel Ann Radix remember getting water from the sistern during her childhood in Grenada.“This is called a goblet, and I was introduced to it by my grandmother. I lived with my grandmother as a little girl, and this is what she stored water in to keep it chill. The water comes from the house, into it, and it stored the water there, and they’ll get it from the cistern and put it in the goblet. I brought it here a few years ago. I’m not quite sure, on one of my visits to Grenada. I’m proud of something that I – I have from my childhood.”
