I watched the object story by Juan Martinez, and he talked about his felt frog. My object is a purple stained glass vase my uncle, who died of cancer a few years ago, gave my parents when they got married. It is really important to my family because it is something we use to remember him. It is also important to me because it reminds me of my old home in Connecticut, because one of the things I remember about that house was exactly were it was placed. We brought it with us moving to Seattle wrapped up in a suitcase so it was always with us, even on the plane.
