When my great grandmother got married to my great grandfather 50 years ago his parents gave her a glass bird. It turned into a relic that was passed down when people got married. My mom was trying to immigrating to the U.S. and was about to be married to in Ventura. My mom was supposed to get the bird but there was an argument about if it should be shipped there. The bird in an argument ended up breaking. It was sad but the sentiment still lives in the stories of the bird. There is no picture of it either.
