French magnet
My object is a magnet from Paris. It has a model of the Eiffel Tower which is important to French culture because it can be considered as a historical monument since it was built in 1964. I normally use it to remind me of France but sometimes it can be used for other things like hanging things on the refrigerator. This magnet is primarily made of metal. It is by far my favorite magnet because of its cool paint-like design. Surprisingly this magnet has a weight of 3 pounds which is cool because any other magnet that I have does not even come close to how much this weighs.
I chose this specific item because I thought that it looked really cool and it reminds me of my ancestry since my French culture goes all the way back to my great great great grandfather who I believe immigrated from France to the USA. This magnet had a cost of 5 euros which is 5.43 dollars. This magnet was from when my grandma went to France. Another fact about this magnet is that it is as old as I am.
In conclusion my favorite thing about this is it reminds me of my grandma. This makes me happy because my grandma passed away in 2022 from lung cancer. This happened because she had had cancer before and was able to get rid of it for a period of time but eventually it came back. The cancer she had was lung cancer. I don’t really have any questions for my ancestor just because I know everything I need to know about this object. But if I did have a question it would probably be something like why this item????
