I was borned in Wuxi, China. It is a very beautiful city close to Shanghai. My parents are both from Wuxi. My father never been to America, but I had been here for more than three years. The first time I came to New York City it was astonished me a lot, because it is a totally different with my city. Wuxi have more than 6 million population, it’s close to New York with 8 million population. Because of the culture difference, we have different kind of food. My favourite food form my city is Wonton, it was a type of dumpling in China.  The reason why I would like to chose the food because I had never ate authentic home cuisine in other cities. Each areas have their own type of  wonton, and it also have differnt tasting. When I get back home, I always eat wontons for breakfast. I love eating wonton becaus it’s a culture in my hometown. I haven’t ate wontons for months since I started my new trimester in New York. But everytime I go back to China, I would like to have this type of food everyday. Most of the time I will eat by myself. Sometimes my family buy it and instead of make it, but I hope we can have time to make it together. The wonton seems to be more represents culture of Chinese family than the traditional food itself.
