Ok what is taking you so long? Is something I hear all the time from my mom. I’m not getting any younger, my baby she says. This is what my mom and my siblings say to me. Yes, they are all married, and I am not yet. My mother is 80 years old, and she is ready to pass the family China Set down that was given to her after she got married from my grandmother. Her mother had given it to her when she got married in 1918. This is a very old set, but it has been in the family for years. Now that my mother is older, she is ready to pass it down to me so I can pass the history to my daughter. 

Just pass it down and we will cross that bridge when I get there with a smile I exclaimed! Times have changed. I told my mom that I could still get the set and I will use it personally for my first holiday as my mystery man’s wife. She laughed and said I guess you’re right and you are well deserving for the best. I have learned sometimes family history doesn’t always turn out like we want it to but with patience and time what will be will be. So now I am the first in our family history not married but I hold the family china!
