The Object I chose was my conference badge from FCCLA nationals this past July. This object is important to me because I have been in this club all four years of high school. This club has strengthened my communication skills through competing in multiple STAR events like Event Management and Teaching Strategies. I was also able to obtain my Time Management skill. While attending conferences, you have to be very mindful of how much time you are giving to the workshops, especially when competing. This object represents me coming out of my shell and becoming the person I am today.
