Famous Farm
Around the 1930’s there was a big event including our farm. My dad told me stories about how they spent weeks painting all the different parts of our barns. My dad told me about how there were concessions set up. It was a really big event with fliers posted around a lot of places and it was celebrating the fact that we were the most successful dairy farm around at the time, and it also celebrated our big sale of cows. Not just family, but lots of people from different towns came by to visit. Dad always says it had never looked better. Even city people came by to see our cows and how things were on the farm.
