Faith
A Special Little Rabbit I have a special rabbit stuffed animal called Faith. Faith was sent to me by my parents while I was still in China, and she traveled across seas with me. She has white fur with a pink shade and wears a blue skirt with a red sweater. On the front of her sweater, it says “Faith.” I’d play with her a lot more when I was younger, but I still do “play” in a way with her to this day. I was very young when I received Faith. She is actually the oldest thing I have. A feeling of comfort and happiness comes from her. The only clear memories I have from when I was really young were with Faith, but sometimes she can bring me more emotional and heavier feelings when it comes to thinking about my unknown origins. The only thing I have left from my first home across the world is her. She’s not just a stuffed animal who traveled the same distances with me, she also represents my adoption story. Faith may not connect to anything important to anyone else, but she connects to me; she’s important to my family. My story with her is very different from my parents. My brother shares a similar stuffed animal that we sent to him too. We are the only ones in our family that we know of with objects like these.
