Me and my family always bond when we make Empanada's. my mother first learned how to make them with my great grandma Lola. Lola barely knew how to speak English and my mother barely knew how to speak Spanish. So they taught each other through making Empanadas. And now my mom teaches me Spanish while we make Empandas. I think this is a very important and fun tradition in out family,
