My father and mother met each other at a very young age. My mom has shared with me how she did not enjoy my dad's company when they were young children. Many years later they got married and migrated to the United States. Years later with 3 children, my parents made sure to go back to their homeland and allow us to experience and live through the streets, food, and language they were raised in. Coming back to El Rancho in Aguascalientes is always a humbling experience. I learn and experience new adventures and knowledge about my family's history through art, food, animals, and language.
