Something that I am passionate is Eid. Eid is a holiday that happens twice a year. The day before my mother, grandmother, my sister, and I learn and cook a lot of traditional foods. SOme foods are fried rice, puffpuff, a mix of different meats, and ect. Eid matters to me because Eid is one of the only days I can see or visit family who live far. On Eid we go to the mosque and pray. We get home and pack food to give to family and homeless. You get to ask relatives for money on Eid. After that we go the the park for barbecues. Before Eid we fast for 29-30 days. During these 29-30 days we fast from sunrise to sunset . We wake up at sunrise to eat and when they call the prayer we stop eating and fast until sunset. After breaking our fast we  go to the mosque and pray 20 rakats. When we see the full moon that means the next day is Eid.
