Eid

In Islam we have two big holidays called Eid. My uncle and his family who were born in Kashmir came to America in 1992. By 2012 my family and my other aunts and uncles families came to United States. Eid is a very special holiday for my whole family and for all the Muslims. We fast for 30 days before Eid and on the last day of Ramadan my family gets together for Iftar (big meal). The last day of Ramadan is called Chand Raat where we all decorate our house with lights for Eid and we cook a lot of food. In the morning of Eid we all go to Mosque to pray then we come back home and get ready. People come over and wish Eid to everyone and the kids get money. Then we all go out to a park or somewhere nice and eat our food and take pictures. This holiday is my favorite because we all get together and enjoy as a family.
