Driving license

This is my drivers license from Italy. Although I don't need it at all while I'm here in NY, I always have it on me. It reminds me where I come from and how special that place is to me. I grew up in the north of Italy, the last village before the border to Austria and Switzerland. As seen in the picture, in my region we are bilingual. We mostly speak German and learn Italian as a second language, all official documents and signs are in both languages (there is a small part in this region where they even speak three languages). We also have a different culture, traditional clothing and food than the rest of Italy. A lot of people don't know this about Italy and I am very proud to be a part of this community and hope I can pass it on to my children one day.
