Dining room table

The table comes from my great-grandmother’s house in Cumberland, Maryland and was purchased at an estate sale. It is a large mahogany table that can seat up to eight people. When my parents got married, they were gifted the table. It plays a central role in a lot of our family celebrations including: relatives visiting, birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries. There is always a lot of laughter that occurs at the table when we have family dinners. It is also a place where I do my homework and studying during the school year, just like my siblings did.
