My object is a small statue about one foot high.  It was carved out of a piece of stone.  It is carved in a way that it shows a man with a beard on a throne.  There is an Engraving in the bottom of the statue that says, Daryoosh 500 B.C. The statue is very old and it has some pieces missing in the crown.
This object represent our family, because it shows that my whole entire family (including my extended family) Is from Iran.  Around the 1980’s my family Immigrated from Iran to be able to escape the war in their country.  Since they were Muslim, we follow their traditions and celebrate their holidays.
