When I was a small child I saw my family bake Cuy (guinea pig) several times on different types of occasions, mostly at weddings or family gatherings. Cuy is important to me because it is wonderfully exotic to me, my family and me. It is actually delicious to some people. It is embarrassing for my country to say that they eat that but for me I like it since it is part of me, my culture and where I come from. In America, Ecuadorians eat Cuy but not as much as back in Ecuador.
