cross necklace
It was May 12, 2018. It was a very important day not for just me, but for my family and my religion. It was the day of my First Communion. I was a little nervous but also excited because this would be my third Sacrament, which is an important step in becoming more of an adult in the religion. It is also supposed to bring you closer to God. So I was in the pews waiting to come up and have my First Communion. Since there were a lot of children taking part in the ceremony I had to wait for a while, but during that time I got to see my family and spend time with them. Then it was finally my turn. I walked down the aisle and got my first ever Communion. It felt great and I knew my family was very proud to see me. After that my Nonna (Italian for grandmother) gave me the necklace from Italy that I now have, and that is the story of how I got my cross necklace.
