In Mexico, when I was 5 years old, my grandparents gave me a horse so that I could ride and take care of the cattle in the fields. They also gave me some leather boots, also a hat, and my grandfather gave me his saddle that was made of wood and leather.  He gave me a plastic rope to grab the cows when necessary, he also gave me a belt made of cowhide. I only wear them on special occasions like rodeos and horse races.
