Cocoa Beans - My Jamaican Heritage

My immigration object is a type of food called the “cocoa bean.” It's from Jamaica which is in the Caribbean. It is used for making chocolate, cocoa powder, etc. My grandfather plants them so he can use them in many ways.
The cocoa bean pod connects to immigration because immigrants bring food and other items when they move from one place to another. Food is one of the things immigrants carry with them from their country. When my family immigrated they brought the cocoa bean pod with them because that is one of the things my family ate.
The day my teacher gave me this homework I knew to ask my grandfather because he knows a lot about the Caribbean more than I do, my grandfather told me “Maybe your immigration object could be a food like a cocoa bean pod.” But I thought that something like a cocoa bean pod was too basic, but then I realized that even the small things can be important too.
