Clarinet
My parents immigrated to New York from China in 1985. They valued music a lot. They sang a lot, and they played instruments. My father learned how to play the piano when he came to the United States. When my sister was born, she also loved music. She played piano when she was four years old, and stopped soon after. She picked up the clarinet, and started loving and playing it. She played when she was in school, and she still plays to this day. When I was born, I followed my parents, and played the piano. I also picked up the clarinet soon after, and played along with my sister. The clarinet is important to the family because it represents our passion for music.
