Some of the special ornaments that are put onto the tree every year are the birth years of my siblings and I. This represents some of my family's cultural identity because it is a tradition we do, and it means a lot to the whole family. Every sibling is recognized on the Christmas tree every year. Our story is unique because I haven’t met anyone else that does it, and to my family we cherish each other's company and existence. I feel like every family should do this because it is a time where each family member can feel important and valued by one another.
