Certificate
My parents came to America just for our bright future. My parents gave up their peaceful life in Bangladesh and came here for none other than me and my brother. Therefore, my only goal in life is making my parents proud with everything I do. It wasn't easy for me. When I came here, I went to a middle school and that was a tough journey for me because, I didn't have the language support. I wasn't doing good because of being bad at English. I was one of the worst students in my 7th grade, it didn't support my goal to make my parents proud. My parents were getting disappointed at me. So, I started working hard just to make my parents happy. There were so many people who wanted to drag me down, but I didn't let them let them. I wanted to accomplish my goals, I wanted to see my parents smiling for me and finally that day came when I got honored with a medal and framed certificate for being one of the best students of 8th grade in whole school. I looked at my parents, they were never that much proud, they were that time. Their faces were brightly shining with happiness, what makes me felt like I finally did something in my life. It's hard for me to describe the value of this certificate. It became my motivation to go further by fighting with all the obstacles in life. A life of an immigrant is much harder than we thought. All of us has a mission, some people give up on it very quickly and some people fight until they reach to the top.
