My object is candlestick. The history behind this is that my grandmother gave it to our family for shabbat. This specific one she had for a long time even before she moved from Israel to America. It’s very important to my culture that we have candles in my culture because we light them in most occasions that revolve around life. For example, memorial candles are lit by Jewish families on the yarheitz (anniversary of a death) of close loved ones every year and at the end of Shabbat a special braided havdalah candles is lit, in which the candle, represents the first work of the new week. As you can see candles are a big part in my religion, culture and family.
