I’ve been close with my step mom since I was very young. She's always treated me like her real child and she's like my best friend. My family decided a few years ago that they wanted to partially live in Oklahoma so they got a house there for most of the year. Before she moved she gave me a silver bangle bracelet with a heart and a pearl. It's really special because I miss her often. It represents my relationship with her because her birthstone is the pearl.
