My object is a small dog. Its breed is a Boston terrier. My grandma gave it to me. Her grandma gave it to my grandma. The dog is made from a ceramic material. It’s approximately an inch tall.  I chose the dog because it’s important to me and my grandma. It’s Important to my grandma because when she was 5 the story goes, one day my great great grandma ( named Marie) was cleaning out her house in Michigan when she came across her collection of small figures. My grandma was with Marie at the time. Marie asked my grandma if she wanted it. Obviously being five she said yes. Marie gave it to her in 1953 and my grandma gave it to me in 2016. That means five generations of Geanulses have touched that dog. If I could ask any questions about the dog I would ask my Marie where the dog came from. Like because it could be anywhere. A lost pirate ship or a 99 cent store. From a deserted ninja temple or from the toy store. It could be boring or interesting. I would also ask if Marie was the first to have the dog in my family. Because I said five generations but it could be six, seven or even 8 generations. This dog is very special to me because it connects me to my great great grandma Marie who, fun fact, also played baseball just like me.
