Books are an important thing in our family. Me and my mom have a passion for reading. My mom had books all over the house, I used to pretend to read them when I was little. When I was younger and first learned how to read, I would read everything. Like the signs as we drove down the street, and phrases off of every shirt I saw. I got good grades in school and my mom would laugh and tell my teachers how I would read all the time. At school, when we would go to the library, I would check out as many books as I could and read through most of them quickly. My mom has 4 kids now and my two little sisters have 2 tall bookshelves full of books. One of my little sisters is just learning to read, whenever she sees a new word she is spelling or sounding it out. She screams it so everyone in the house can hear her. I’m sure when she is really good at reading she will love it too.
