The powder blue Oldsmobile stationwagon, circa 1982, represents family togetherness for me.  My mom, dad, brother and I spent lots of time in this car, traveling to many places on the East Coast, from Maine to South Carolina.  We traveled in a different, kinda ancient, dark blue wagon for the trips during the '70s, and I recall my parents telling us not to fall asleep in the "way back" due to fears of carbon monoxide poisoning.  We survived the long drives and have many great memories.  My parents and older brother taught me to drive in the red Pinto!
