My bicycle is very important to me. It was the first thing that I ever purchased with my own money and it was a lot. The bike overall was about $550m the accessories in total were about $400 and other things such as locks and others came out to about $200 more. In total, it's around $1150 in total for everything that makes up the bike. This bike has been through the thick of it. It's got into several crashes in its short lifespan, about 14 months only, and this bike was made from parts of my dad's old bike. So, technically, this bike is about 35 years old. I tried to use as many parts from my dad's bike that he had from when he was a kid and the bike had gone into disrepair. So we took his broken bike and my new bike parts and we tried to use as many old parts such as the handlebars, wheel frames, brakes and the seat. The frame is the only thing that we didn't keep and the bike was problematic at first but now the bike is fine and smooth sailing.
