Basketball has always been my favorite sport, but I didn’t just start playing for fun. I started playing basketball my 4th grade year and have played ever since. Basketball made a huge impact on my family, especially because I was the first to play it in my family. Basketball really brought my family closer together: My little brother even started playing when he was in the fifth grade. Now we always play basketball and my mom loves to come outside and watch us. Me and my brother both play because we love to make her happy.
