3....2...1... He shoots, and he scores. They win the game. Tons of sports fans around the world live games, we would all go to my grandma's house to watch. We would make bets on the NBA Finals, however no one would follow through with it. Basketball was kind of like a tradition in my family. Lots of the men wanted to pursue their dream in basketball. Many didn't make it past high school but it was a common goal for lots of us. Some of my cousins played in high school and are going to play in college, my half brother plays in college, but the person who got me into this was my dad. He and many others in my family introduced me to basketball but his accomplishments were a big part of it. He didn't make it very far but it still had an impact on me. While he played in high school and on travel teams, he got to play all over the country. Immediately after he played in college. He played at Farmingdale State College for about a year. He has got tons of trophies and awards during his time playing. I’m not sure why he stopped playing though. As I have shown, Basketball is a big part in my family and what they wanted to do in life. They may not have made it far but it was a goal we all had at one point in our lives. It brings us together and created lots of memorable times. Eventually, I want to introduce my kids to basketball and who knows, they could probably make to the NBA.
