This Balero is my dads. It is very special because he’s been having it since he was 12 years old. My grandma bought it for him at a fair. Ever since they bought it for him, he has been taking really good care of it. The Balero is so special to my dad that when he moved to the U.S. he decided to bring it with him. A Balero is a toy that many kids in Mexico play. Not also kids play it but adults and teenagers. My dad child’s hood was not the best he had drop out of school once he graduated 8th grade because he had to help his dad get money to take care of her family. I feel pretty good about the Balero because it’s something that my dad has kept with him for a long time and it means a lot to him. I used to use it a lot when I was little but as I grew older I stopped using it. I’m not sure if it will be passed on to me but I would love it if it were passed on to me because it means a lot to him it also means a lot to me too.
